"Firstly, I have to thank Tony and the Smartkits team. Smartkits Australia was the only company that could provide the 4 very custom kits required for this project.
Kit 1. Swim spa deck kit, made for a very specific height and shape.
Kit 2. Replacement Deck. This replaced my old wooden deck. Again, a special shape to fit with the new swim spa deck, fixed to the house BUT this deck is also required a cantilever as support posts could not be located on the outer corners due to a sandstone retaining wall underneath.
Kit 3. A Carport/Deck all in one. Again, very custom as I did not want post in the center of the carport. So had to span 6 meters.
Kit 4. The insulated Flyover roof. This was a custom size to fit over my entire deck area.
Kit 1,2& 3 where purchase first nearly two years ago and kit 4 early last year once the other kits where installed.
The Plans where easy to follow and the kits easy to install, with the right help. I am an owner builder, and this structure is fully council approved. From the photos you can see the deck is still not finished as I am waiting for the plumber to fit out the new outdoor bathroom, kitchen sink and new gas outlet. This will allow me (Once the council Inspects) to finish the bathroom and install the Kitchen. This is still a project in progress, BUT without Smartkits Australia it would have not been possible.
